I'm a new writer who works - as opposed to being an old worker who writes - after quitting my job in the financial field last year to soothe that persistent inner voice (she's quite the nagger).
Now I'm discovering that having a calling and following that calling are two very different beasts, and chronicling those ups and downs in chasing a creative pursuit is what's keeping me sane.
Hopefully it may also help you out of some unclarity, too. Otherwise, at least you know there is someone else out there feeling their way through the fog alongside with you.
